I think you are mistaken.
Eddie does not admit to anything but foster rearing his birds. I also think it cowardly that you do not post an e-mail address or other forms of identification.
If you are going to post something at least make it truthful. Eddie La not once said he parent raised only that he liked to breed his birds young and so habitually foster the birds.
It saddens me that you have such desperation and such conviction but are misguided and frazzled by a hobby I so love.
True that many do foster rear for profit but equally so that a minority of us actually are breeders and love the challenges offered by parent breeding.
I wish I could say you are a one of, but unfortunately I am getting more and more e-mails asking where this hobby is going?
My answer...unfortunately as long as there are those that seem to enjoy breeding for profit regardless of what species it will get worse before better.
Please do not reply to this but take heart in that there may be a few bad apples not all of us are out to exploit the majesty of the "true" well parent reared gouldian finch.
