A Rogers;
No it is perfectly normal for the pair to stop sitting on the chicks 2 1/2 weeks after hatching.
The chicks can now regulate their own body temperature.
A strike rate of 66.66% ( number of chicks that live after fledging) thus far is average and should cause no alarm.
Some pairs cannot feed more then two chicks adequately espcially young and in-experienced pairs.
It is odd that you have an apparent yellow chick ( pink skinned) and a normal ( grey skin)
This means that your two normals are not normals and that the father ( hens cannot be split to yellow without visually expressing it) is actually split to yellow back.
This means that the yellow backed chick will most likely be a hen.
Hope this helps
