It was great to see so many gouldians at this year's show. Over 25 entries , and every colour you can imagine.
There were a great many contenders for best young gouldian but that award went to Robert Whittle.
Robert has been showing and winning for many years.
This is the first year that someone besides myself has won in London ( I had no young gouldians entered) for best young in over 3 years.
As I said this victory did not come easy but Mr Whittle's Rh Wb male throttled the competition.
It was an excellent show and I did have fun learning to Judge the Zebra's, but there is no greater joy then when you bring happiness and joy to another person's face. I was so glad to present Mr Whittle the award and hope he uses the small amount donated ($50) by LGFC to further his gouldian goals.
We were glad to be able to donate back to the community and look forward to doing so again in the coming years. Thank you to the kind show staff and a special thanks to Bernie fir allowing us to bea part of such a great and exciting show.
