Web update - annual survey of members
The annual survey of members is now available on the web site (a copy will also be placed in the club house). Many many thanks to the large numbers of you who took the time and trouble to complete the survey - it is much appreciated and very useful to us. Why not have a look and see what the membership think about the club. Use the link above or on the web site us the 'Members Area'/'BDP/Surveys' menu item on the far right of the header. |

That's actually really interesting (and positive). I note that some of the issues are already being addressed, e.g. parent / child sailing day (although I'd still like more sailing activities for the under 10s), and the boat park is better organised - I presume the lighter boats are now at the top as we've been relocated up there! Now all you have to do is move Kielder Water to Newcastle, and we're all sorted! Judy |

Actually the heavy boats like the Drascombes are up at the top which is perfectly logical as they have to be car launched/retrieved on their trailers anyway. So distance is no problem. It's the heavy boats which are 'hand launched & retrieved' on launching trollies that need priority nearer to the slip so that folks don't bust a gut moving them. Tim |
