Windward Leeward Open this weekend!
Coming up this weekend on Saturday and Sunday is Kielder's Windward Leeward Open Meeting, when we also welcome the Scottish Skiffs and Cherubs. We hope that many Kielder members will take part in the Open too. There will be two starts - one for the Scottish Skiff Racing Grand Prix Event for boats which are asymmetric monohulls with PY<=930 or single sail monohulls with PY<=990, and one for everyone else. So whether your boat is symmetric, asymmetric or a single hander, fast or slow, one or more hulls, come and join in. The Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions are on the website. |

The forecast is improving - it looked pretty dire at the begining of the week but much better now. The Scottish Skiff and MPS forums indicate that we will have guests this weekend, including Duncan Hepplewhite with a van load of spares and chandlery - could be useful! We will be down late on Fri (family event to attend first) and look forward to seeing everyone again.  We have really missed you all and the start of season sailing.
