We are working on an Asian Development Bank project in Tax Reform (Tuvalu) and urgently need a translator/interpreter based in Tuvalu.
The translator/interpreter will have extensive experience in both English-Tuvaluan and Tuvaluan-English interpretation, and English-Tuvaluan translation; and an understanding of economic, financial and, particularly, taxation terminology.
More specifically, the translator/interpreter will undertake these tasks:
1) Provide interpretation services during community outreach and training as necessary;
2) Translate key Technical Assistance documents as identified by the revenue advisor.
