I had the problem of a slipping gearbox when engine running in reverse....This can cause some hazardous situations when manoeuvring. I phoned Kemper en van Twist in Dordrecht. They have a guy who knows everything about Paragon gearboxes.
On the port side of the box there is a correction bolt of appr. 8 cm in length. The adjustment for slipping is done by washers. I checked the bolt and found 2 washers, took the bolt out, removed the washers and screwed the bolt in again...Problem solved. |
