Just read your info abt. fuelconsumption. I suppose this is a 4 cil Perkins? I have a 6 cil Perkins and cruise at abt. 1400 revs (never more) around 6.5 - 7 knots depending on wind, waves etc. My calculations tell me a consumption of max. 5 ltrs per hour (average around 4).
But...when motorsailing a never make more than 1000 revs - very comfortable and...cheap.
