I have written to the Paragon manufacturers to find out if the Paragon needs a thrust bearing or if it can, by itself, support the pulling-pushing forces from the shaft. Due to the relative small power of Banjers' engines and the common praxis with most shafting mountings for this amount of power, it seems to me that the thrust bearing should not be needed, but let's wait from Paragon's advice. May be Dees is right. |
