Guillermo,concerning the fuelconsumption of the Kittyhawk the following has been calculated during the last two years:
Season 2003: avarage consumption of 3.4 liters an hour
Season 2004 avarage consumption 3.2 liters an hour.
Both are exact,because at the end of the season both tanks are filled completely.An hour-count-clock is installed connected with the engine,it is new and funktiones well.
2003:clean hull,trips on sea with 1600 rpm.
2004:clean hull,only one trip on sea.
every year the Kittyhawk is in a heated building and the hull is cleaned.
We always use 1400-1600 rpm as we have to sail on rivers and estuaries with currents.
minimum is 800 rpm in a port.maximum 2400 is never used.(above 1800 is rarely used).
Next time i will send all calculations fuel per kilometer/mile.
