Two more Pre-Trial hearings
We have another pre-trial hearing today then one more on May 1st jury selection starts on May 5th. I am a wreck. This has been going unbelievably fast it has only been four months since my son's murder and we are going to trial. The DA here doesn't like the defense attorney he said he isn't going to give an inch. I know some of you have been waiting for a year or more and some of you don't even know when or if there will be a court date I pray for justice for all of our children and their families. From other people I've talked to the fact that you are in court already is a miracle! A homeless crazy killed my boy and he hasn't even been to the Grand Jury yet! They won't tell me anything, and I check the internet everydat to be sure that this crazy is still in jail! I keep waiting for someone to post his bond cause he's a "homeless Vet", well he was there because he wanted to be he had money. I wish you strength and hope you can get some relief knowing that this jerk is not going to walk the streets again. Hugs and be strong! |

It took 6 months to finish up court and sentence my son's killer, but there was no trial, a plea agreement was reached. I wanted a trial so badly, there are so many unanswered questions. 4 months is very quick, the DA must have a very strong case, still be prepared for anything as criminals like to play with the system. |
