THE MONTH OF APRIL
I got the call two days ago, as of April 30, 2008, my son's killer is 100% released from commitment by the state of Nevada. Parole canceled, restitution is on me if I want to pursue it in Civil Court (I am). 2 and 1/2 years for the murder of a fine young man. It's been a crazy month. The anniversary of my son's death. Crime Victim's week, with all the speeches and marches. Two of my friends cases were ajudicated, both recieved guilty verdicts. A young high school friend of my youngest commited suicide. I'm a wreck as I type this. Across the street from the site of my son's murder stands the Mark1 building, my son's name is Mark. When my husband picked up our son's vehicle after his death, he started it up and the stereo started to play, the song that came on said "Bang bang you shot me down, bang bang that awful sound". In Mark's room a book was open, on that page was a Tupac poem/song "In the Event Of My Demise". The next check in his check book was 5150, California code for mentally ill (his killer was meth psychotic). It's like a story my son left for us, the story of his murder. Ah, well I guess that's all I have to say, wanted to tell somebody. To all of you whose cases are going to trial soon my prayers are with you. |

It just makes no since to me how these murders get these ridiculos sentences.I don't know who killed my son but I can't even imagine the rage I would have @ such a cruel joke of only a couple years for murdering my baby.I am so sorry.I don't even know what to say I am so sickened!!!GOD be with you!!! |

JUST SO STUPID,I AM SO FED UP WITH THESE COURT'S AND ALL THE JUSTICE BULL CRAMP,I WISH YOU WELL,I AM SO SORRY,WHAT CAN WE DO!!!I AM ANGRY,KILL OUR CHILDREN AND GET FREE,WHO REALLY MADE THESE RULES!! |

I am so sorry!!! Even though I do not have to pray for justice in my daughters case (he killed himself) I have seen and heard enough to make me sick. Even in this little town drug dealers are getting more time than the poor excuses for men that killed your children. I wish I was smart enough to know how we can stop this. Who can we call?? Can We protest??? I am at a loss but I will continue to pray for justice because one thing I do know God has the last say and he WILL make these animals pay for taking our children. I am so sorry, but no doubt he will be in prison soon for something else, so many get out in just a short time only to commit another atrocity. When will the justice system learn!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Shirley |
