I'm still so broken hearted. I can't believe what happened to my son. I used to be so strong but now I feel so weak. My heart was shattered on 11/01/2007. He was such a good son to me. I am very proud that he is my son. I just wish I had more time with him. He was taken from me so violently so suddenly. |

Hi Elizabeth, Im so sorry for the loss of your son I understand your pain. Im new to this site and Im so glade I found it. My precious son was taken from us to, and I cant deal with the pain its so unbareable. But I hope we can be here for eachother for strength and comfort. God be with you and your family. |

I'm so sorry for your loss too. I would love to keep in touch with you. We both need all the support we can get especially from people who understand exactly what we are going through. It's so hard and so unreal to believe that our children are gone before we are. I miss him so much. R.I.P JOSEPH PEREZ!!!! |

Elizabeth,I am so sorry about your son Joseph.My son Andre' was murdered 10/06/07 he was also 17.I don't think this kind of broken heart can ever be healed.I don't even know how to deal with the pain all I can do is just exactly what the other moms here tell me and that is to live one minute @ a time.I don't think about one more hour,day,or week.I just try to make it one more minute.We all know & share your pain & we are here for you.Here for each other.You are in my thoughts & prayers. |

I too am so sorry for your loss my son was murdered 12-16-07. The mothers on this site have been a great comfort to me. My thoughts are with you also my prayers. |

Thank you so much for the LOVE, it means alot to me. It's really hard now because my youngest son is mentioning Joseph alot and says he wishes he were alive. I try my hardest to keep the happy face in front of him because he knows when I am thinking about Joseph. I found out about this website from the rally in downtown chicago. I am really glad I did. |
