ernest nathaniel craytonIII opening statements thursday 4-24-08
thanks all you moms for your words of encouragement i will be their my daughter called me and said i want to go with you i know how the kids feel and ernest was 3 days before his 19th birthday and he was my fourth child i hurt to see how his older brothers whom they had a close relationship with ernest is suffering behind losing him and we are a close family me and my kids and i will be there i talked to the prosecutor and he said he will give me a heads up when the coroner will be there i have to excuse myself to the courtroom hallway because i heard from the doctor on that day and it shattered my heart into pieces i will not let anything stop me from being there though ernest's father and i have not been together ever since ernest was 18months old but we talk and his wife works across the street from the los angeles criminal courts building downtown l.a she will be there so i am going to do this and god will give me strength i know this so with that said i will leave it in our heavenly fathers hands gosh my heart feels like it is going to burst at the first mention of his name. thanks moms peace and love to you all. |

MS.CHERYL I WANT BE THERE FACE TO FACE,BUT MY HEART &PRAYER'S WILL BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,JUST KNOW THAT THIS COWARD WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO GOD FOR WHAT HE DONE TO YOUR SON,YES IT IS SO HARD AND PAINFUL GOING THROUGH ALL THESE IN AND OUT'S OF COURT,TRUST ME I AM STILL GOING THROUGH IT,TONY'S TRIAL IS MAY 13,I HOPE YOU GET JUSTICE,HUG'S!! |

Dear Cheryl, You will stand with the righteous seeking justice for your son. Know that all of us and our children will be there with you in spirit. Picture God there with you as He will be. Please just remember what I have said a dozen times,,,be strong, keep your feet planted,and breath...don't let anything that the defence attorney detour your love for your child, and above all ask God to help you make it through this, and you will. I believe all of us MOM's are very strong and can endure just about anything now that we have (somewhat) made it through the roughest thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you in that court room. and do excuse yourself when ever it get's to be to much, I had to leave the court room after the coroner gave his first statement, and he started showing his autopsy photos, the first photo was my son on a metal table with his head proped up. showing the bullet wound on the top of his head, I started crying yelling out that is my baby,,,our DA stop the court hearing and came over to me and said "You have had to endure enought now you must leave,,,the image of that picture is still burned in my mind,,, don't do that to yourself.... I will be thinking of you as you go through this ordeal. with love and strength Frances Jr's mom |
