SUFFERING ANOTHER LOSS
Dear Mom's Monday my mother informed me that my cousin Jeff was in an accident and that he was dead. When she told me how it happened I just refused to belive it...things didn't add up and I immediatly thought his wife killed him. After contacting my victims advocate here in Ohio, she checked into the coroner's report and discoverd that it was a sucicide. My heart aches for his wife, kids, and his parents and sister. I feel so guilty for automatically jumping to the conclusion that someone killed him and suspecting his wife. I don't understand the kind of pain a parent would feel over their child taking their own life. But there is a part of me that feels better knowing that Jeff willing and for whatever reason's chose to end his own life instead of someone else choosing to end it. Does that make me insensative or cruel? I hope not, because I'm not intending to come across that way. I guess it's because I lost my child at the hands of someone else so I have someone to blame. My aunt has no one to blame, but must be going through a barrage of questions and guilt. Please keep Jeff's family in your prayers and pray that God would give me the strength to go through yet another funeral and give me the words of nothing but love, sympathy, and help to Jeff's family. thank you mom's michelle (Brandon Fluet's mom) |

I am so sorry to read of your loss. This must be so hard on his wife and family. I hope they can get counseling to help them, and you, to understand what has happened. |
