This for you Mom's...
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful poem, that lorre sent it was very nice, I even made a copy of it and put it with some pictures I have of Jr in the hallway...I wrote a poem about 2 days after Jr was taken, and I would like to share it with you ladies,,,it isn't very good or professional but It just told him how I felt. Here goes... Rest in peace my child, and let God shelter us with his love from the pain we are suffering at your loss I love you and always will From birth to the death no matter how short a time I had with you You were my rock in a storm and my strength when I was weak But no matter I will survive to care and love the memory of you You were not at peace here on earth, so maybe now you can rest and lay quietly in the arms of God I will miss you always Love Mom I told you not to expect professional...just my thoughts after losing him, he had asthma all his life and the meds he would take would cause him to be so anxious, he couldn't sit still even for one moment even as a child, he would constantly be going and into his adulthood he was the same, he couldn't sit still long enough to even watch a movie, with out getting up and down at least 20 times...I miss him Well lovely ladies I haven't cried today (not yet) and my house really needs cleaning so I guess I will get to work. Frances, I think your homage to Junior is beautiful and honest and very deep on a spiritual level. Thank you for sharing it. I'm sure he loves it. He will always be your beautiful boy. Also, I'm glad the other poem helped :) Love, Lorre |
