found more goodies
We've made our move, it was soo hard leaving leah's room. The last place we spoke, the place I replayed our last nite together all the time...but I found 2 cameras with film, which i will be getttin developed, and I found notes, beautiful ones. Tonite,I found a note to me...I cried my eyes out. SHe said she loved me so so much. Thanked me for taking her out, asked why I took her to the doctor and told me her sister was mean, then signed it...love your friend, leah. SHe truly was my best friend ever. I found another paper, with a little heart that says i love you, love leah. She has gifted me with so many beautiful memories. I am so grateful for all these gifts she's showering me with. I feel blessed. I know that she loved me w all her heart, as i loved her w mine. Just these little things have given me more joy than ive had since her injury. Keep your eyes open for all the joys and beauty in life, it is helping. |

Beverly I am so glad that you have these items that to the average mother is not important but to us it is the most precious thing. I found a letter that my daughter wrote to her daughter right before she gave birth to her. This letter told her how she felt being pregnant with her and how anxious she was to meet her beautiful baby. This will be a lifeline for her daughter when she is older. My son found the mother's day card that she had bought for me right before she was murdered this is so valuable to me. So wonderful for you to feel your daughter Leah's love from heaven.
