Take a moment
It is sunday morning another morning where I go to bed at 1 or 2 and wake at 5 been doing this since Jr. died, anyway I would like for all you mothers who are suffering to take a moment and remember 1 thing about your child and jot it down to me I would really like to share with all of you. Here's mine When Jr. was a child about 4 we own this property 1 acre in the middle of no where, anyway we planted this wonderful garden (6 zucini plants is way to much) Jr wanted to plant carrots. Every couple of days I would go and check the garden for produce to bring in to eat and every day the carrots wouldn't get any taller, One day I heard the water out side come on so I looked out the bedroom window to see this little angel measuring all the carrots with a stick and the one's that were too tall he would pull out and walk around the ranch (as we call it) eating his carrots, I now understood why the carrots were not growing, It wasn't that they weren't growing it was that he was eating them once they got a certain size. I REMEMBER WHEN HUBERT WAS SMALL HE WOULD GET UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.AN GO OUT SIDE WHEN WE WAS ALL A SLEEP.MY FRIEND WOULD FIND HIM SLEEPING ON THE STAIRS. LATE AT NIGHT SCAREY WHEN I THINK OF IT LOVE JOANN HUBERT MOM |

hi frances,this is a really great idea,i remember from a very early age,Dwayne never liked meat pies (pastry base with meat and gravy in side,then covered with pastry on top)any way when all the other kids had there pies dwayne would carefully lift the lid off the pie scoop all the meat and gravy out then he would fill the pastry base with 2 minute noodles (i dont know if u have them over there) but they are just dried noodles,u put hot water on them for 2 minutes and there u are,well he would fill his pie base with them then very carefully put the lid back on and all his friends would think he too had a pie just like them,until he bit into it,then all the kids would laugh so hard,it is a memory that his friends still talk of today.thankyou for letting me share this with u all .xoxoxo |

There are so many, many many. But since some of you moms are going the food way LOL, my Timmy loved to eat. His favorite was Chinese food. But he used to make these concoctions and get his brothers to eat it, we used to tell him he should be a Chef. One of his concontions is scrabled eggs with tuna fish, LOL, and they liked it LOL. Or another he made his own jelly balls he'd call them, he'd get jelly, peanut butter, and fluff (or sometimes chocalate) miss it all up until it was smooth and then he'd roll them into little balls. The kids loved them too. They all liked it when Timmy went into I want to make something mode. |

My son Andre' loved to try to play tricks on us, his very favorite thing to do was put cups of water on top of doors and wait to see who he could get wet.But when he put nair(hair remover)in his then three year old brothers hair as he slept-to him that was his greatest prank yet.His brother woke up with three patches of hair missing.He then felt bad and said he didn't think it was going to work so he shaved his head along with his brother but he was still proud of pulling it off!Thanks for making me smile to think back on this!GOD bless you all! |

When my son Gene was about two years old there was a song that was played on the radio called Kung-Foo Fighting. I don't know if anybody remembers it? One of the lyrics on the song was,"Everybody was Kung-Foo fighting, Ha!" and Gene, when that song came on he would get up and start acting like he was doing karate. I can just see him kicking his little legs up and swinging his little arms. It was just too funny. I think I posted a picture of him on his website doing this dance. Oh God, how I miss my baby. THANK YOU MS.FRANCES FOR ASKING WHAT A GREAT IDEA...I HAVE SOOO MANY SWEET MEMORIES THAT RICKY LEFT FOR ME WE WERE SOOO CLOSE WE HAD SUCH AN UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP HE WAS MY SON BUT ALSO MY BEST FRIEND.HE TOLD ME EVERYTHING,SOMETIMES TOO MUCH.LOL ANYWAYS WE HAD A GARDEN WHEN RICKY WAS LIKE 6 YEARS OLD AND HE PLANTED HIS OWN WATERMELONS AND THEY GREW BUT NOT VERY BIG AND THEY WERE NEVER RIPE SOOO HIS DAD WENT AND BOUGHT A WATERMELON AND PUT IT IN THE GARDEN AND RICKY WAS SOOO SHOCHED WHEN HE FOUND IT AND PROUD THAT HE HAD A LEAST ONE THAT RIPEN AND WE COULD ACTUALLY EAT.IT WAS REALLY FUNNY. I MISS MY BABY SOOO MUCH AND LIFE IS SOOO HARD WITHOUT HIM, I KEEP HIM ON MY MIND CONSTANTLY.HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART. I PRAY EACH AND EVERYDAY FOR ALL OF US MOMS THAT HAS LOST A CHILD, THE PAIN IS SOOO DEVASTATING.JUST TRY TO HANG ON TO THOSE PRECIOUS MEMORIES,EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU ARE IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS.HUGS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO EACH OF YOU. |

I am so glad all of you decided to share a snall part of your child with me. Today is really hard because my sons girlfriend who has been making our lives hell. Well she always tried(even after Jr,s death) to make us feel guilty by telling us things like "Jr never felt like you and Ruben Sr. loved him he always felt like you didn't care about him as much as we did our daughter", or "He was doing so much drugs all the time to forget that you guys didn't love him". I fall apart every time I think of the things that she tells us because I honestly think maybe I didn't make him know how much I loved him or how proud of him that I was and still am. So now today after all this I see her with a big hickey on her neck. After she would tell us that she was the only one that loved him. Yeah sure! I am sorry I can't stop crying today I just WANT MY SON BACK, PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME I CAN HAVE HIM BACK1 No matter how unrealistic that sounds I keep saying it over and over. Dear Francis,Never ever let this girl tell u anything about yr son,after all u are his mum,remember u will love him for ever,her just until the next guy comes along (and he has )and remember that yr son sees everything now clearly,he knows what is going on.We all scream that we want are kids back,just let them come home,but god must have really big plans for them,as they say only the good die young and our sons are the very best of the best,so to make heaven the beautiful place it is,god needs our boys,he must or he would never have let this tragedy happen,so please try to believe this and it will ease yr pain even if only slightly.much love to u,love Deb (dwaynesmum) |

I remember the nite before Leah got hurt. God spoke to me, and told me to suck up every thing about her. We spoke on her bed. She had her hair in a pony, and a white sweat shirt on. We talked about how much more I wanted for her life, and how I wanted her to be happy. She told me I gave up on her like her dad did, and I said NO I will NEVER give up on you, i love you with all my heart. I thank God for that word, and that moment every day of my life. I am so grateful that I was her mom. She was a gift to me. |
