I did it.

Well ladies, it was not as scary and horrible as I thought. I had gone through little things bit by bit. My treasures are many, a few rolls more of undeveloped film, some jewelry I'd wondered about hidden. She was sure a dirty little girl..arg..what a mess. Her friend came over, and I wouldnt open the door, she motivated me, and kept me going w her bubbly personality. I have donations outside waiting for me to take them to safe nest, and I actually feel good. No tears, just love in my heart. I feel like I set her free.
Love you all
Beverly

You did it!!! We are proud. So wonderful to know that you felt Leah with you and the whole experience ended with warm feelings of doing something for her.

Re: I did it.

I am glad to hear that it was not as bad as you thought it was going to be. Proud of you for staying strong.I am sure Leah gave you the strength to get thru it. I still have not cleaned out Gene's room. I think I am going to do it after his one year aniversay. Which is in May.I pray that I am as stong as you were when the time comes. God Bless You and take care.

Re: I did it.

Good for you Beverly! It sounds like you did set Leah free, you gave her roots now you've given her wings, as they say! I'm glad that her friend was with you bolstering your spirit. An amazing step! You're setting yourself free too, free to love Leah where she's at. God bless~

Love,
Lorre
