The 2006 Journal: Rest In Peace
Here I am with another hair brained idea... I was computer hostile until I found MOMS. Please bare with me as I stumble through something I know nothing about.... (oh great, this ought to be good...) Would it be possible to scan The Journal's pages into "computer space" and put a link to it? Or something like that? I have no idea how to do something like this...I just have a mouse and know how to click it. I assume that upon it's completion it has been sent back to Lorre.?) This idea was born from selfish reasons due to the fact that I would like to read about all the MOMS who contributed to it after I did. Is this something do-able or impossible? I'll throw my hat in the ring for taking on the task. But maybe this is better left to someone other than me, I'm just the idea guy, with computer skills that don't go beyond clicking the mouse. (my last computer was red with just two knobs... and to reboot it I had to hold it over my head and shake it). Just an idea. Karen Wes's mom |

I notice this was posted 1 day before my Gerrick's birthday. He was murdered 19 days later in February of 2004, but it feels like just yesterday. My heart aches for him every single day, the pain and sorrow is just as intense today as it was that day. Today it is 49 months ago that cold blooded murderers set him up and murdered him in our own home. And, I feel the same hate and anger for them that I felt then and I always will. My child was good to them, trusted them, and would never suspect them of brutally murdering him like that. They have no human qualities, no morals, no respect for human life, they are nothing but evil! I don't post here too often, partly because it is soooo painful, and also because I don't want to subject my anger to any MOMS here because so many MOMS here have helped me over the last 4 years. I am so very sorry to all the new MOMS that have had to find their way here. I am so sorry your children were taken from you in a violent way. About the JOURNAL, can someone please find out where it is and when it will be copied. I remember when Aunt Nat had it, moms were asking about it, but it seems that only a few of us are concerned about it at this time. Where is it? I think someone should write/call whoever has it as a courtesy to all the rest of us moms who are waiting for their copy. No one answered my emails. Karen, did you find out anything? Hi Mom's that sounds like a really great idea, but I too only know how to click a mouse and that's about it, I had to actually have my niece come over and help me make Jr's memorial page, (dummy) oh well I would like a copy also when ever we can make this happen. Lorre, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you throught this tough time, hang in there and remember God does love you and your love is safe in his arms now, I know it sounds trivial now but maybe some moment in your grief it will make perfect sence. Hi Everyone, I too think that seeing the journal online is a wonderful idea - (thanks Karen, you are not only smart, but f'ing hilarious). Unfortunately I am no help either with how to do that.
