Hi Darien, Here is the address for the Compassionate Friends. They have a link there for siblings. http://www.compassionatefriends.org. Also Parent of Murdered Children has a good website with alot of resources. www.pomc.org. And here is another one that might help you. ojp.usdoj.gov/ovc. Click on Help For Victms and then click on National Coalition of Homicide Surviors. I hope these are helpful to you. I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter Keara. My son Eugene was murdered in the early morning hours of May 6, 2007. He was shot in the head three times and left behind a Goodwill store. A passer-by found his body. He was 34 years old and his birthday was Sunday the 9th. I miss him so much. He was not just my son but also my best friend. My heart and prayers go out to you. God Bless You. |

Thanks Angie, I am also so sorry for your loss. Birthdays are so hard and holidays don't seem any easier either. I have spent a lot of my time crying. My little dog Gretel has spent a lot of time licking my tears. I got her about 6 months after died and then my second dog Gretchen after my Mom died. I lost Keara and my Mom within 9 months of each other. Sometimes I can't believe that I'm functioning at all. |
