Keara was also a mother
It is so hard for me to watch how Keara's children Justin and Victoria have been affected by their mom's murder. For a long time they slept on the floor in their Dad's room because they were afraisd that he would get out of jail and come kill them. They were 11 and 7 when Keara was murdered.Justin has really bottled up his feelings even though he is in counseling every week and now that he's 13 he is really starting to act out. It has been so hard to have faith in anything since this happened. I go through the motions of life but don't feel alive if that makes sense. I just want to wake up from this nightmare but I don't. I think the only reason I am still here is because I have other children and grandchildren but have been so worn down by the physical and emotional pain that it is hard to keep going. |
