Mad Bereaved Mom Petition
I just received an email from this mom to sign this petition. I agree with her. I signed it and thought some of you may have the same problem. My name is Natalie Smith-Blakeslee, myself along with my husand Dr. Stephen Hodack and the family of Carrie Ann Smith have started this petition. I lost my oldest daughter Carrie Ann Smith to leukemia. She was only 27 years old when we lost her. She passed 10-2-2005 So as any other bereaved Mom I take things out to the cemetery not a lot . But an angel light("12 inches high) that will light up at dusk. My sister put a small stone there "If tears could bulit a stairway to heaven, I would bring you back again " and a small 2 in. angel. I got a call today that those few items were removed. I know reading from other bereaved moms that this has happened to them. This should not be able to happen. I am outraged and have made necessary calls to change all of this. I am also starting this petition as well. Please sign this if you agree that : We pay for the resting place of our loved ones we should be able to put items at holidays , birthdays passing anniversaries. AS well as any time we wish as long as we are maintaining our area that we bought and purchased for our now deceased loved ones. I know that happened at our cemetary and I found out from the grounds keeper that they are removed when they mow but he had everything that was in the way of the mower at the cemetary garage waiting for me to pick up. Did you ask the grounds keeper about it? I put a shepards hook cemented on the base of Justin's stone so anything I want to hang or stay out of the way of the mower is always safe. THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME IN N.O. CEMETARIES!!I AM SCARED TO LEAVE ANY THING ON TONY'S GRAVE,THEY ALSO TAKE FLOWER'S AND PUT THEM ON OTHER PEOPLE GRAVES!!SICK PEOPLE!!LOVE-TONY'S-MOM,MICHELLE! |
