Readiness Hearing November 16, 2007
This court date was disposed. PROCEEDINGS DISTRICT ATTORNEY HAS INFORMED THE COURT THAT THE WITNESS JARROD LEE DAVIS HAS NOT BEEN IN CONTACT WITH HER OFFICE. COURT ORDERS A BENCH WARRANT FOR WITNESS JARROD LEE DAVIS IN THE AMOUNT OF $100000. Status: Fugitive. (Remember he is the current boyfriend that drove Jennifer to our home and testified he knew nothing of the murder.) I have a feeling if he is caught, which I am sure he will be, he will be spending time in jail until the trial is over. My gut instinct was that he should have remained in custody, but what does a Mother know. I knew nothing about Jarod until I read it on the Court Website. HEARINGS JURY TRIAL SET FOR 01/22/2008 AT 8:30 IN DEPARTMENT F5; ESTIMATED 10 DAYS. READINESS CALENDAR SET FOR 01/18/2008 AT 8:30 IN DEPARTMENT F5. PRETRIAL SET FOR 01/04/2008 AT 8:30 IN DEPARTMENT %%X %%. TIME WAIVERS TIME WAIVED TO 03/24/2008. She is still in custody. Because there is another murder trial in front of Michael's and it would put it so near Christmas, we asked the court to continue any proceedings until the first of the year. I am thankful that this was done. The Holidays are tough enough.. Love to all... |

hi beverly,its deb just want to say good luck with the hearing and yes i too think he will go to jail too,they must have enough evidence now to put out a warrant (lets hope so anyway)i'm glad it will be after the holidays as you need to have a break and try to have a good christmas ( u know what i mean as good as possible under the circumstances)just no that i'm thinking of you and the family.lots of love from deb xxxx |

I Know all this waiting has been a -itch but hopefully it will all pay off and you will finally get some action. I know how hard the waiting is and it really does seem like nobody cares but they and we moms do.Do be kind to yourself and take care of yourself, you still have a long road ahead of you.
