30 months today
My 19 yr. son Lee was murdered 30 months ago today. It hurts as much as if were yesturday, Lee was protecting his sister from her husbands violent attack. Lee was just getting his life back on track he had returned to school to get his GED, he was working toward the drivers exam for his license. The day after his murder his first job was to start. He was to return to church which he had gived up on as a young child. Lee was intellectual disabled he always had a smile and the biggest brown eyes. He said he loved me and hugged me every day. |

hi elaine, my son was murdered nearly five months ago and it is killing me ,not to see him again or to hear his voice,your son sounds like a beautiful angel, and i hope he is safe in the arms of jesus,may all our angels be forever safe and forever young .love to u and your family. love deb (dwaynes mum) xxxxx |

Hi Elaine, I am so sorry for your loss. My son was murdered 5 months ago and I beleive that I am still in shock. I am still waiting for him to walk thru my front door and yelling out "Mom". My prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless You. |

My son, Mark was murdered April 2005. I guess that's around the same time as your son. Are you doing ok? It's such a nightmare we're all living through. I have some good days and then bam I'm back where I started from. The people who harmed our children will be made to pay for their crimes by God. His punishment is beyond our imaginations, it is just. Take care of yourself. |

Dear Elaine: I am so sorry to hear about your precious son Lee. We all know how much you hurt but no matter how much you hurt you will never hurt as much as you did the day your son was murdered. It is so sad that Lee was stopped from living up to his potential and I hope your daughter is not suffering from guilt and blame because of what happened to her brother. What a wonderful young man to put his life on the line for his sister. Apparently he was raised by a wonderful woman. God ways are not our ways so I don't know why the good die young but I do know that you will see your son again. The hard part is waiting for that day.
