Prayers
I received a call this morning from my sis in Oklahoma. Very unexpected news. My 56 year-old brother died in his sleep in Dallas last night. Not sure what happened. Coroner will let us know, but we think it was congestive heart failure. Our younger sister was taken to the hospital. Her daughter thought she was having a heart attack. She is sedated, but okay. He will be buried in Oklahoma City next to our Mother next week. My brother was handicaped and never had much of a life, except when he lived with my Mother until she passed away in 2000. No matter who met Billy, he would tell the story of how his sis, that's me, saved his life. We were at Niagara Falls when we were so young and he went running for the water, and it was my calm voice and the fact I think that he loved me so much that he turned around and came running back to me. I remember I gave him a scolding,hugged him and yet he didn't remember that part (that is the scolding). He was so young when this happened and still never forgot. I had been thinking about him so much the last couple of weeks. Over the years, I have not spent much time with Billy, but I certainly will miss him and love him. He was my dark-eyed, dark-haired baby brother. Please keep us in our prayers. He was also an Elvis fan, so now Billy is in Heaven with our Mom, Grandmother, My Michael and Elvis. I hope Michael was waiting at Heaven's Gate to welcome him. God Bless... Beverly |

Beverly I lost my older brother in 2004 he was 58 my age now. My brother helped me through the very bad times after Phillip was murdered. He as always there for me and I miss him terribly. We both will hold a special place in our hearts for our brothers. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Take Care. |
