Preliminary Hearing
The preliminary hearing for Mike Krebbs for the Murder of my son Ty was held today. A few witnesses testified, along with 4 of the six that were told by Krebbs before he murdered my son that he planned to kill my son, he told one witness 2 days prior and again the same day he murdered my son along with five others. But at the end of the day the preliminary hearing was continued because the defense attorney for Krebbs failed to file his motion to dismiss until the morning of the preliminary. He should have filed that motion at least 5 days prior to the hearing. It was extremely hard to sit just a few feet from Krebbs and watch him sit back in his chair with his hands proped behind his head like he was sitting in a recliner watching t.v. or see him turn to wink at someone sitting behind me. He acted as though he was proud that he murdered my son, needless to say it was an emotional exhusting day. |

Re: Preliminary Hearing
Dear Kathy, You put it perfectly, court IS emotionally exhausting. It is just such a surreal environment and defendants often act so pompous. Makes you just want to slap them-or worse! But, you made it through the day and that is an achievement. Is Krebbs being held at all? I think he should be, particularly if his attorney is the reason for the delay. Just more BS from the system. Thankfully, you have a prosecutor who knows right from wrong and is not going to let this go. I know that Ty is proud of you! Love, Lorre |

Re: Preliminary Hearing
Kathy, I so feel for you. Yes it is so heartwrenching to sit mere feet away from a person who has taken so much from you. And even more hurtful when the person shows no signs whatsoever of remorse and almost seems to be laughing at the world because they believe they will get away with cold-blooded murder. Well, I for one have one thing to say to these murderers "they will pay one way or another for the lives they have destroyed". I am lifting you up in prayer Kathy. |

Re: Preliminary Hearing
Kathy, I remember the courtroom ordeal to well. I am proud that you got through it and I pray that each time you have to endure it that you just trust in God to hold you close and keep you from jumping the rails and chairs and chocking the jerk (mild word) to death. Cause that is surely exactly what we all want to do. I have to tell you that the only time I felt such satisfaction was during a plea hearing...the family of JJ came in smerking and laughing among themselves so that I could see and as the father and grandfather went out for a smoke break my attorney served them both with Civil Suite papers. They didn't re-enter the court room looking so happy then. And he served JJ as he came across the street from the Sheriffs office in handcuffs to enter the courthouse. He handed the papers off to his daddddy before he sat down. Boy were they all P*****! I can honestly say I got great pleasure form this. It was truly Kodak moments. You hang in there girl, Keep us posted, God Bless and Hold You Close, Karren |

Re: Preliminary Hearing
God bless each and every one of you moms, I don't know how I would get through this without all of you. I truly believe that in some special way my son Ty led me to this site. Ty knows how difficult it is for me to get through each day, so he sent me to this site where he knew I would be with other moms who know my pain, and will help me to survive this hell we are all in. Thank you my beloved Ty, I miss you so very much and thank you moms, you are my strength and each of you are always in my prayers. |
