Thanksgiving
Today is a sad day for me as well as all of you. Nothing different just because it's Thanksgiving, all days are equal now since our children are gone. I just have to smile, even though it hurts me so bad knowing that my son is in heaven. I sit here and smile imagining how beautiful the thanksgiving table is in heaven with our children there. Each and every one of our children, so handsome, sitting tall and proud before their Thanksgiving feast. And don't forget the MOMS with daughters, so beautiful. All of our children, together in heaven, looking down on us. |

I agree Randi, Thanksgiving must be beautiful in Heaven with all of our loved ones. This year was the first year I cooked everything from scratch~it's a long story but basically allergies prevent me from cooking at all unless I can make somethiing quickly. Bottom line, we lost my grandma and aunt this year, so it was my grandpa, my other aunt and uncle, my cousin, my daughter, stepkids and their kids. As I sat at the table I was truley thankful that I got to prepare a meal for these people who I have loved my whole life. My Momma used to always do Thanksgiving and now I know how she must have felt. It was a gift. Love, Lorre |
