Airspeed Oxford
Hi all. The Oxford got its maiden flight today under the safe hands of Steve Holland. I then took control of the model but found the rudder to be lacking on output. this was confirmed by Steve and a replacement is needed before its test flying stage. Both Don and Dave are passed as offical observers by the LMA safety officer Tony Hooper. So testing can take place at Pymore. Cya all at the field soon Phil

The Oxford has now completed its testing, having flown it numerous times at Pymore. It certianly looks impressive in the air. We even had a couple of gents over who thought it was a full sized flying. Just waiting for the LMA and CAA paper work to arrive. Phil

When are you flying it next, Phil? I want to be there. Do you have any video/photos for the site? |

Oxford is going to be flown tomorrow on the 10th of May around 10:30, this is a non public flight, but members can watch if they like. Public flights are not allowed untill the CAA issue the paperwork hopefully this week. The reason i am flying it this weekend is the plane is booked in to fly at Goodwwod race course at the end of May and i need to biuld some hours flying the beast. Phil
