Old Magazines/Plans Appeal

I have been aeromodelling in one form or another for a very long time and a useful source of information is often back issues of the various magazines associated with our hobby. Over the years, I have built up quite a collection of these magazines some as far back as the late 50's.

I tend to build from plans and find back issues a tremendous incentive to decide the next project that may inspire me plus they are a useful source of reference that I can 'dip' into to help others with.

Recently a fellow clubmate 'disposed' of a large pile of old 'mags' to the local community tip Unfortunately, I was a couple of days too late....had he known etc etc...

So in light of that, could I please ask that if anyone else has a desire to rid the attic/workshop or whatever of any old back issue magazines or plans relating to Model Aircraft or Full Size then I would appreciate a call before you throw them away as I would be only too pleased to recieve them.

I mentioned Full Size because I am also a member of the Classic British Flight Sim group (CFBS)a Freeware flightsim modelling group where I supply the information, 3-views etc for computer modelling for Microsoft Flight Simulator....the most recent project that I was involved with was the award winning De Havilland Chipmunk made by Rick Piper. My involvement was made possible as I had the required information to hand....so please do not throw away any aviation related material...if you no longer want it...Please let me know by email or call 01308 420796.....Thanks!
