As the holder of the 2003 ground hugging award I should like to point out that I only seem to crash when the ground gets in the way .This has only happened once this year and we are all ready into March.

Well chaps,
Dave Parmiter did a classic one, whist training using the buddy link he forgot to pull up his airel (whoops)...As you can imagine neither the instructor or the pupil had control of the plane... I heard the pupil saying i dont have control and the instructor saying niether do I.....
Happy landings ( not on this occasion)

Hi Phil,
I was wondering if you are going to give out a prize for the number of time an undercarriage can be removed on landing with out destroying the plane?

Well the year is drawing ot a close and your nominations are required. Ernie seems favorite not only with his Peashooter landings but the EX-SPEED AIR which put on a fantastic display of bin bag mania.
Happy Landings

I still nominate Mike, as he clearly continues to carry on from where he finished last year. Obviousely likes the award and shows the true adventure of the man.

Re: Re: nominations for the best ground hugging pilot 2004

Thanks for all your help in awarding me the prestgious prize of 'Ground Hugging Pilot' of the year. Someone some where thought I needed another plane to crash, hence winning the plane in the raffle. Anyway, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and New Year, while i sweat away doing the club accounts.

I promise I will fly more and crash less next year. I will also be keeping a record of all the crashes, especially the spectacular ones. Please keep any photographic evidence of these crahes and blank out any of mine

Re: nominations for the best ground hugging pilot 2004

Ok Ernie,
Looking forward to seeing more flying in 2005, it is a good job you won the plane. I have placed a bin bag in the club hut with your name on it in case you need it.....
Still at least you get to choose who the 2005 goes to...
Happy landings
Phil
