Hi. I'm looking to have my 12 yr old son evaluated by an OT. He has delayed motor skills (and other things I think) related to a chronic kidney condition. I live in the Albany, NY area. Can anyone give me a name of a ped. OT?
Is your school district not providing enough OT for your son? Other than OT's employed by our school district, the only local OT that we've been to is Judy Hamm of Community Cornerstones in Troy (formerly Northeast OT). I don't believe so because the Beery test showed he has gotten worse since two years ago. We are having a CSE meeting to discuss it. I may request an IEE. But I'm just trying to do a little investigative work right now. Thank you for the referral!
