Festival Committee
i am finally healed up enough from my latest wisdom tooth extraction, that i am ready and able to try form the Toon Town's Pagan Summer Fest. committee...(the past summer saw us run our fifth year, and NOW i think to form a committee, which is so an ave move folks) so anyone who wants to toss their ideas into the pot, or formally sign on for some of the duties, or just become formal volunteers for before/at/after...or if you know someone off list who wanted a hand in it...or whatever...you can email me to confirm, or show up day of no matter...and if you can't come to the first meeting that is fine, if you find yourself wanting and able to attend the next month, just contact me off list as this will be my only forum post...(as it is not a "home group" activity) my festival email is ariddlertilton@... i hope to have monthly meetings for the next four months and two meetings in the final months before the big day! (my goal was for saturdays late afternoons) this month i will set up a date for JANUARY 19 2:00 PM at taste bud's on lorne ave. my hope is that the core of the event will stay the same as the past five years, and that it will just grow with the imput of others...there will be some butting of heads i'm sure, and i just hope enough people who have attended in years past, will be there to mix with possible new comers... so Festival committee meeting SATURDAY JANUARY 19 2:00pm Taste Bud's on Lorne ave. please bring pens, and paper if you want to take notes...i will bring the paperwork from the past five years... we have had wonderful help every year (don't ever think we have not noticed and welcomed every helping hand), but i did not dream up the event to keep it tucked under my wing, i would love to see this event become a team effort... |
