In late Oct. Or early Nov, a black tumbler came to stay with us and recoup ( no pun intended ) from a possable preditor strike. It now Jan, and it's time for our 'Guest' to find his ( or her ) way home. This is not a homing tumbler, as it has not found it's origional home. So I finally got close to the bird and took the numbers off the blue band on it's leg. They are "NPA 99 C0150". If anybody could decipher the mysterious code of the 'Pigeon Band", and notify the owner, I'd be greatful. It's kinda fun having a tumbler roaming the yard, but I think I'd like to have my barn back, as the bird thinks it's his private coop....CAP[sigh] |
