Whomever put together the YouTube presentation of the pictures, thanks (I'm guessing Steve S.). It was a nice walk through the past of this league. It just reminds how good our God is, giving us a game that we can really enjoy, compete in, and bring praise and honor unto Him while doing so.

Thanks Pete. Looking back on all the pictures and memories, I feel the same way..just grateful that God allows me to play a game I love and to have met so many awesome people through softball on my team and on others...Makes me sad thinking about a few years down the road when I won't be able to play anymore, unless I am like Mr. Brodhag! I know this wasn't an A+ effort on the video but hopefully people will enjoy it anyway.

I have only been in the league for three years, but I am really sad that I missed playing with Steve when he used to wear the Kareem Abuul Jabbar goggles, that was such a good 90's look (lol) and I wonder how much a better hitter he was back then?

I heard Steve used to pull the ball even. I have been in the league 11 years and I haven't seen him do it if my memory serves me right, so I guess it is either folklore or a really long time ago. it's amazing how he puts that ball to right center almost every time.

Thanks again Steve. Your efforts along with the other commissioners, coaches, etc, makes this league one to always look forward to each year.

I was hoping those geeky googles went unnoticed, but no such luck! On the hot nights those things really fogged up - thank goodness I eventually got laser eye surgery.
