I do not know if you would be any help this is a very big needle in a hay stack but I am doing my family tree and have just been give a diary written about 1914 by my grandmother Annie Blackwell, in the diary she mentions Uncle Thomas Shears, who left her mother some money. Her mothers name was Elizabeth Edwards and had a brother called George who lived in Bristol. Elizabeth was born 1861 in Plymouth but is not in any census for Devon or London until 1881. She stayed in London were she married a man called Blackwell.
Do any of these names come up in your family tree.
I am sorry i do not even know Elizabeth or Georges parents names. Only her father worked for the paper called the Cronical
